Daniel has been walking our dog since 2018. He is absolutely fantastic with our dog and is so conscientious. He treats our dog like family - always making sure he has fresh water on hot days, letting us know if he is not himself which alerts us to possible sickness or injury. In the over five years that he has been walking our dog, Daniel has NEVER missed a single day of walking (unless letting us know he would be on vacation) - even on the coldest, snowiest days! We have also had him dog sit on several occasions for multiple days at a time. Not only does he make sure our dog is walked, fed, etc. - he also checks on the house, brings in the mail, and plays with our pup so he gets lots of love and attention while we are gone. Daniel is a true professional, and beyond that - feels like family. If I could give Daniel 10 stars, I would!

Daniel has been so helpful for our family and most importantly for our dogs. We used him years ago with our first dog and are now on our second round with our new puppy. He was flexible with us when she had her spay surgery and even assisted with administering meds when needed and reached out to check on her post-surgery. He has been a great resource for tips & training too. He's dependable, timely and very professional. When we work from home, he's quick to know when we are on a zoom call and can't talk or can't have background noise. You and your dogs will be happy working with him.

Daniel delivers his services exactly as described. He'll meet with you and your dog(s) to make sure there is compatibility. He has a pretty wide range of services available, at a few different/reasonable price points (it gets more affordable with more dogs sharing his services). And best of all... he shows up when he's supposed to, does the work he's been asked to and leaves helpful notes at the end of every walk. I have a socially awkward dog. She's in to her owners and not other people or dogs. But she loves Daniel, and has been affectionate with him since her first meeting. That's a rare feat for a dog walker to pull off. We're happy to have Daniel help us out most every weekday.

Daniel has been a godsend to our family and our two 2 dogs. We started using Diggers almost 3 years ago for daily walks for our dogs. This past fall we put our home up for sale and Daniel was a lifeline for all of the house showings and being able to take the dogs within 30 minutes notice. To be totally candid I am a VERY overly protective Dog Mama. I am one of those people who orders two small whipped creams at the Starbucks drive through so each of my little chunk monsters can have a treat too. Needless to say finding a dog walker/sitter when we moved to Minneapolis caused me some anxiety. (Ok, a lot of anxiety, I wanted a full background check, drug screen, and fingerprints) Then we met Daniel! I have to say Daniel is our life saver! We have two fat Bulldogs and one can be a real handful when it comes to new people and social events, but she LOVES Daniel. He is calm and sweet, and our dogs respond to him so well. We don't feel nervous or worried at all when we are away. He sends updates, and since our girls aren't big on long walks sometimes he'll just hang with them and snuggle for a bit before he heads out. We always come home to happy and tired pups! If you are looking for a dog walker Daniel will take great care of your pups.

Daniel has the rare combination of being both a great dog walker and a fabulous business manager. Our beagle Highlander absolutely loves him, and Daniel is always so great about leaving little thoughtful treats for Highlander like a pup-friendly ice cream in the freezer on a hot day. He clearly has a passion for dogs and that comes through in the detailed notes he leaves each day about how the walk went. Daniel is also great at managing his business in that he keeps detailed track of schedules and invoices, and is very trustworthy. He reliably shows up on time every day (and he is the one who shows up, he doesn't outsource the walks to a parade of employees we've never met), stays for the full time, and locks up afterwards. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Minneapolis area looking for a trustworthy, reliable dog walker.
